Teh Squeaky Wheel
Good morning, boys.
Coming soon to America if teh left has its way.
The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, today announced the national freeze on the sale, purchase, and transfer of handguns comes into effect. From now on, people cannot buy, sell, or transfer handguns within Canada, and they cannot bring newly acquired handguns into the country.
When guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns. Ed Abbey

Glad the etuoR giB went so well this week and that you were able to make it a bit more interesting by doing it sdrawkcab.
BK Update: Short on sleep but “okay”; napping right now. She asked me to pickup some milk on this week’s Waddlemart run; she said it tasted a little weird. (She’s really looking forward to when her tastebuds get back to normal.)
HH-A Update: As of this writing, phone conference between attorneys and arbitrator on-track for this coming Wednesday at 09:30 PDT. (Ironically, just about the time I have to start prepping for my colonoscopy on Thursday afternoon; gonna be a lot of shit going down that day.) 😉
Just read your link; criminy. It’ll be interesting to see how the reality of the “freeze” plays out in Canuckistan, eh? (I have a sense that many of our “Neightbors To Teh North” have had more than enough of that little commie dweeb and his dictatorial BS.)
Meanwhile, I’m glad to see some orthodox Jooos in New York are standing up to the state’s ban on guns on houses of worship. Maybe some of those goofy mofos are finally taking “never again” seriously.
Hi, Fatwa -- good to read that Brenda is OK. If I recall you have something coming up, or rather going in, this coming week?
This morning was a bad eye event for me -- got a cornea tear that was quite painful. Four years now of this crap. I told Mrs Sven that I’m considering the pain as penance for my sins and that pain now is how I’m going to avoid the pain of hell after death. Probably not on the soundest ground theologically speaking…
Happy CaturBearaday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and Fatwa!
Sven -- I’m sorry that your eye troubles are persisting. I hope you can get some more consistent relief.
Fatwa -- I’m glad BK is doing better and glad that you’ve got something scheduled re: HH-A HOA. I hope they don’t ghost you on the conference call. Good luck on your colonoscopy prep.
I had a painful interaction with my brother on Thursday. After telling Mrs. Paddy about it, she said, “That’s it! We’re done with him!” At least I didn’t rise to his bait and respond to his passive-aggressive insults.
Residents of The Great White North need to rise up and depose that entitled little bastard that’s ruining their country.
Good on you, Paddy, for resisting the urge. Usually in those situations, escalation, however justified, makes more problems later. Better to act with a cooler head later.
My brother is a salesman, in the truest sense of the word. I’ve known lots of people who fell for his b.s., but everyone I’ve ever respected has seen through it within the first few minutes of meeting him.
It’s drizzly and cool here today -- temperature staying in the 60’s.Yet SoCal Edison sent us a public safety power shutoff warning for Sunday night into Monday when the temperatures may reach 80 and wind gusts up to a whopping 20mph -- soon we’ll be getting shutoffs cuz the sun is shining.
Stay safe, Sven! Bring in the ‘coons and keep a weather eye out for brush fires!
And I’m of of TOR already. Strange. only one day on.
I believe my Caddy is kaput. But not entirely sure.
Replaced the thermostat myself finally.
Something strange about it. I don’t think I can even sell it in this condition, I’m tempted to just junk it so I don’t have to look at it anymore.
I really don’t think Cannukistanis have enough spine left over to take back their country. Or else it wouldn’t be this far along the totalitarian path.
