“Can relate” to that thread pic, Mac; is that Maslow’s Hierarchy of Raccoons?
We had a few more Trick-or-Treaters last night than the past few years, but still pretty light traffic. Don’t know if they do some kinda organized stuff like “Trunk or Treat”. around here. (I do know that several of the kids in the neighborhood have “aged out” of wanting to extort candy from their neighbors over the last couple of years…)

We had significantly more kids trick-or-treating last night than in the past, and they mostly came in large groups with their parents. It’s good to see younger families moving in to the neighborhood.
Off to a seminar at the county department of education.

We went to a friend’s house last night in the SFV. They go all out for Halloween, but only 5 or so groups showed up all night. That’s way down from what it used to be. I blame Trump.
It’s interesting that most of the polls now show leaning Republican all across the country even in them blue-despot strongholds. I wonder if we’ll wake up next Wednesday morning to find that the polls were once again wrong. Or go to bed Tuesday night thinking red won and then wake up Wednesday morning to nope.
