Thanks to the rain in L.A., got a bunch of carp to get to. (Really hate that peoples’ failure to heed our advice six months ago somehow becomes our problem when everything goes south…)

Fatwa -- sorry about all the carp you have to put up with. I’m sure people’s attitudes have only gotten worse since COVID.
I went to Mrs. Paddy’s 2nd choir Christmas concert yesterday. They did a great job and had a nice selection of pieces. My concert will be next Sunday and we should be ready after our rehearsal this week.
Lot’s of accidents and idiot drivers yesterday. I wonder if there is any correlation?
I’ve been reading some of the recently released twitter files and analysis. It’s hardly surprising that it confirms what we always suspected, but what I would also say is that if you do a deep dive into any company or individual, you’d probably find stuff in some form or another that’s illegal or problematic -- show me the man and I’ll find the crime type of thing. Unfair? Nope. Not a bit. Anything that harms my enemies, and these files are doing that, is fine with me. I didn’t make the rules.
I’m a bit behind on the Twitter Files, but what I’ve seen shows that they have been lying to the public, and possibly Congress, for years. Implications of government involvement and/or pressure are there, but still only implications. Hard proof would lead to action against various federal agencies for violation of Constitutional rights. What’s the chance we’ll actually see the smoking gun?
If we can revise section 230 of the CDA to prevent these type of actions in the future -- “I’m not a publisher”, “We have to moderate content” -- I’ll count that as a win.
