Today is Day One of my school’s Winter Break. A break that just happens to be centered around a certain holiday, celebrated by both adherents and non-adherents to a particular religion, which religion we cannot name, lest some people think that the government, which has final control of the schools, is “establishing” a religion.
It’s rather nice to have my Christmas break start this far in advance of Christmas, instead of just a day or two, but the downside is that school starts up again on Monday, January 2nd.
Well…. I guess I’m using my BAT tokens to pay my taxes this year. I wanted to avoid doing that, but I want to save my matress cash for paying the repairmen on my various appliances that all seem to need fixing at once.
