There are several mysteries that can never be solved -- the missing sausage is likely one of them.

Good morning, GN.

Happy Mystery Sausage Wednesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!

I got an IM from the Director of Special Education this morning, asking if I could be the administrator for a meeting at 8:30 this morning. It seems she has a migraine and everyone else is busy. Yeah, I’ll fit it in. Meanwhile, my emails are piling up.

Well. Appliance guy came by. Replaced the part in my Dishwasher and fixed the bearing in my Dryer.

Dryer works great now, No squeaking.

Unfortunately, the motor I bought (for the previous repair a few months ago, on Amazon) is leaking as well, so it needs to be replaced.

So I guess it will be a few more days and some more money until I have a working dishwasher again.

Crap.

Well that just sucks! So now you have to replace the motor again?

On a lighter note?:

I guess I’m feeling much better. I got back from my long shift this morning, and woke up around 2 pm when the repair guy called. I felt pretty rested at that point. So I guess I’m not going to sleep all the way through to Thursday morning, like I did last week.

I feel pretty well rested.

I made some biscuits out of my standard protein mixture for breakfast yesterday, So I had one for breakfast (they’re very large) with butter and some melted sharp cheddar . I wish I had some leftover bacon, but we ate all of that yesterday, and I didn’t feel like making more.

Although, I’ve been using Fatwa’s method of cooking it in the oven. It takes longer but there is much less smoke and mess, etc. And you can put it in when you start on breakfast and it is done by the time you’re finished with everything else.

About the only time I cook bacon on the stove anymore is when I cut it up into strips. Otherwise, the oven is much cleaner, simpler, and faster if cooking more than a few pieces.
