Good morning, GN. No fresh hell yet, but I’m sure it’s waiting in the wings.

Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!

At least the cat only has to herd cattle, not cats.

I gave a statement to my insurance company yesterday regarding the current lawsuit. I can’t tell you how much fun it was dredging up those old accusations and conclusions drawn by the district. Today I meet with my attorney and get to do it all over again.

I hope it all goes ok.

This kind of thing is why I am terrified to work for the City of Sedona, even though the pay is stellar and the benefits are unmatched in the private sector.

The meeting with the attorney went well. He’ll file the response to the complaint, then begin the rest of the process of discovery, trying to coordinate with the attorney(s) for the school district, etc. He told me to try to put it out of my mind for a couple of weeks. I know that’s not going to happen, but the less time spent dwelling on it, the better.

I’m having that thing where I don’t want to go to sleep after work.

We had a pretty good amount of snow last night.

So I did The Big Route first before I did the mail.

That went pretty well, but when I got back to the office to do the mail, I had some trouble concentrating.

Well…

I did go to sleep. And slept until 6:30 pm or so.

I made spaghetti sauce yesterday… or was it the day before. Anyway, I’ve got 5 tubs of it in the fridge. Harper said she’d been craving it.

I should make more noodles also. I wish I’d bought a spaghetti cutter along with a linguine cutter when I got my machine. I’m thinking of ordering them both. unfortunately, there is no combo cutter for those two. The standard Marcatto cutter is vermicelli and fettucine. the other two are single and are sold separately.

The best attachment combo is this:

which also includes a ravioli maker. Which I wasn’t really that interested in, but which would probably be fun to have.

I’ve messed around with making ravioli by hand, but it’s quite a process.

Although… when I make noodles of any kind, it’s a mess which gets flour and protein powder everywhere.
