My eyes are blurry from scrolling though Twitter on my phone. Forgetting my reading glasses.
My squint game is so good that I don’t notice my lack of youthful closeup vision.
Until I look away and everything is blurry for a while.
If I blink my eyes really fast, it speeds up recovery, but I AM getting better at wearing glasses when I use my phone for an extended period of time.
Coming up on 15K twitter followers in a few days, prolly. Still peanuts, but it seems like a lot; it’s just not.
I know this ex Harvard guy who follows everyone back, so even though he has a lot to say, he resides in the Follow for Follow/No Talent Bum, space. He has almost 250K followers and managed to follow back most of them. Though he’s fallen behind of late because of illness and other commitments.
I used to play a cell phone game when I felt Idle. Now twitter is my cell phone game, I guess. About the same amount of effort. I mostly post and/or create memes and send them out tagging lots of Big and smaller accounts in the F 4 F space. That always leads to more followers.
It’s kind of like playing a game. Sometimes I make a regular post, but usually I tag some other accounts; you can get more views that way, which translates into more followers.
Then when (and if) you really need a lot of people to see something, whatever it might be, you’ll be able to get it in front of a lot of eyes.
I’m not sure what I’ll use it for, but, it’s “just in case” I guess.
Happy Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good evening, dv8 (and Harper!), and Sven!
We arrived in Charleston, after only a few delays. Picking up my rental car took way too long and I was given the choice of a Dodge Ram pickup or a Chrysler mini-van. So much for the intermediate car I reserved. Oh, it also has a big dent in the passenger side door. The rental agent said the car had been inspected and had no damage -- please sign here. What about that big dent? What big dent? That one, right there! Oh! I’ll add that to the inspection sheet.

Happy Monday, GN -- good morning, Dv8. Having 15K followers, does that some pressure on you to create content regularly?
not so much.
