A lot of work on monday night. I had a mess I made on Friday to clean up. We have magazines from the Sedona Film Festival. This is a yearly thing. The route drivers split them up among them and deliver them to all the houses. I actually already received my copy last week, on Saturday, I think.
Anyway, I had to go into work on Friday evening, and help the trucker unload, as his broker did not prepare him for the job. He had no palette jack or any means to unload these four very heavy palettes, as he was told he would be delivering to a warehouse with a complete array of unloading equipment and a raised loading dock.
They are usually not allowed to use other peoples loading equipment, especially motorized stuff like our forklift, so I had to go help them.
I loaned them our palette jack so they could move the palettes to the back of the truck one at a time, and lifted them off with our forklift.
we are watching an anime which centers on Professor Moriarty as the protagonist. All the Holmes favorites are featured. Sherlock, Watson, Lastrade, Miss Hudson, Mycroft, even Irene Adler. Very inventive. It managed to get a second season 24 episodes in total, and a couple of OVAs.
Pretty fun.
Also we watched the most recent season of “Bleach” which is finally being finished after its 10 year hiatus. They even managed to get almost all of the original English voices for the dub.
One season so far. 13 episodes. A bit more rushed than the original 366 episodes, but clearly they weren’t planning on finishing it in just one season which us fans were kind of afraid they might do. Still they glossed over some things that the original series would have fleshed out. But all in all, it was a good start with an engaging story after ten years which ended on kind of a depressing arc.

I punched in and out. 33 minutes total.

The thread pic cat is thinking back to its bad decision three months back when it overindulged on catnip and cheap wine.
Hi, Dv8 -- good morning, GN.
Happy “Uncertain Cat” Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, dv8 (and Harper!), and Sven!
dv8 -- it was a good thing you had both a pallet jack and a forklift to get those pallets off the truck.
Sven -- if only cats would learn from their mistakes.
Uh, shouldn’t have someone mentioned that it was Valentine’s Day?
You know, you’re probably right!
Bah! Humbug!
Wrong holiday, Ebenezer.
Same sentiment.
Careful, I’ll tell Elena!
LOL
