Happy Saturday. We haven’t floated away yet, but since the storm started, we’ve gotten 8 inches of rain. It’s been a good steady downpour, heavy and windy at times, but so far everything around the house is holding up OK. The hillside across the street is staying in place for now. Looks like rain into early evening, and then a break for a day or so.
Jack Tatum was quite whiny and unhappy last night. Slept all day, got up around 5:00 and wanted go out. Insisted we open the doors for him and then just sat looking at the rain and crying. He hasn’t used his litter box in two months and had to be coaxed to use it last night. He also climbed up on the couch and napped next to Mrs Sven -- something else he hasn’t done in months. He did take off for a couple of hours around midnight, came back in soaking wet and cold -- it was very important for some unknown cat reason that he go out. Now he’s upstairs sleeping again.

as per my very late friday post, most of friday was spent asleep after a long day and an extended morning of staying awake.
