In the wake of this latest shooting, I keep hearing, and from people that ought to know better, about how “you can’t own a machine gun” to bolster the argument for restricting whatever they define an “assault rifle” as. Last time I looked, there was like 200,000 machine guns in civilian hands and it’s legal to own one.
Like children. It’s like the adults have left the country. Doesn’t bode well for America lasting into the next century, at least in any shape or form that we would recognize today.
