I didn’t know they had circadians where you lived. I thought they lived mostly east of the Mississippi. All that noise would certainly keep me up at night.
I feel caught up on sleep. Last night, (Tues/Wed shift) I was dragging. Big Route tonight. Up once again in the AM.
I’m planning to go visit someone.
Got a strange craving yesterday. Bought some Tahini, a small bag of bagels and some English muffins.
It takes a while to stir up the Tahini (sesame butter, kinda like peanut butter, for those that don’t know, but thinner) I spent about 5 or 10 minutes with a mini whisk and a spoon scraping up the hard stuff at the bottom.
Toasted the bread, a bit of butter, and then dribble the tahini on it.
It’s just what I should not be eating. A low protein snack. Although… all that Fat helps mitigate the carbs.
I remember it took me a lot longer than 5 minutes to stir the oil back into the freshly opened jar of tahini. Putting it in the fridge helped for the next batch.
Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
I hope everything is well with our friend, Mac and his family.
Thanks, Paddy -- echoing your thoughts for Mac and family. Great thread pic, btw.
Mac is just embarrassed. Sorry about that. A strange week and I just lost track. Thank you for bailing me out.
No need to be embarrassed, Mac. I’m just glad that it was something as simple as a busy week.
Went to bed at almost six AM so I just got up.
I have circadian issues also, as you know.
It’s a pain.

Those damn circadians are everywhere.
keeping me awake at all hours
can’t keep a consistent schedule thanks to the damn things….
They were really bad in Houston.

I gave the Tahini a good stir and put it in the refrigerator, maybe it stayed mixed. I’ll see this morning.
The last time I bought tahini I made hummus. It was good!
Harper told me that’s a main ingredient for hummus. I had forgotten

It’s just as thin out of the fridge, but it appears not to have separated.
(I buy the instant version in bulk from WinCo whenever I get down there. I haven’t made it from scratch in 40 years or so.)
Well I thought the oil in it would harden in the fridge and keep it more solid, but nope, it’s as soupy as when it was room temperature.
I’m about ready to get to work, but it’s way too early to go yet.
I may go in a bit early. I dunno.
There are things I could get done if I go in a bit early.
maybe I’ll just start getting my stuff ready to go. There’s a few things I have to put in the car.
Don’t forget the time clock, Dv8.
