Verdict to be read in Trump defamation civil case -- my bet is guilty.
Update. Not guilty on rape, but guilty on everything else. Not a surprise and whether it’s a good or bad verdict doesn’t matter nor does it matter how much Trump rants about the injustice of it all.
Six of one; half dozen of another. The problem for Trump is that this will become another major talking point for him as he adds it to the miscarriages of justice that he has to endure. It will also embolden DAs sitting on the fence to move forward with more charges and trials.
Is this a bullshit verdict? I think it is, but so it goes. He’ll appeal and that will wind through years of litigation. The left is nothing if not very very good at lawfare.
