Good Morning. After lots of sleeping, and working, I realized I had not checked in on all of you in some number of days.
As I have been saying for a week or so, I have not been living in temporal reality. And at the same time… I feel like I have been stuck in time… as though I were a fixed point… that time flowed around, against, and past… creating eddies that I can watch but not experience.
A reflective Memorial Day to you all, Gerbil Nation.
Good morning, Sven, and dv8 (and Harper!)!
My plans were to get up, mow the front lawn (which I haven’t been able to do for the past two weekends), clean up the side yard, move the compost pile to someplace where it may function better, and do some weeding on the slope. Unfortunately, it is downright wet outside, which means the grass won’t be dry until this afternoon and the same for the hillside. That does put a damper on how much I can accomplish today.
dv8 -- I’ve never felt what you are experiencing. I’m a creature of habit and do best when I establish routines and stick to schedules, otherwise time seems to slip away from me.
Instead of clearing up and drying out, it drizzled this afternoon. No lawn moaning, no weeding on the hill, no work outside. I did manage to purchase a new laptop for Mrs. Paddy. Her current laptop still works, but is incredibly slow. I got it for her in 2011.
Good morning, GN -- wishing everyone a blessed and reflective Memorial Day.

I’m so amazed when I encounter someone who makes the most of his time.
Elon Musk works 18 hour days most times. He does everything to optimize his time. It’s amazing.
I’m kind of the same way -- routines work for me.

She was about due then.
Yep.
