Sven -- I’m glad that you and Mrs. Sven took some time off and got away. You both need that. Glad that Jack was so forgiving and only threw up on your bed and not in your shoes.
I had a cat growing up. Later, when we had room mates, we always had other people’s dogs. So that was like having a dog. But I always liked having a dog around. They are very evolved to live with us and understand us.
Rodent trouble again with our vehicles. Have to replace the hood insulation pad on the Jeep -- $150. Doesn’t come with clips, which also need to be replaced. Sheesh.
Hardwired a strobe-ultrasonic pest repeller in the engine compartment of my truck and using scent packs in the Jeep. Will see if either work.
Made a casino run Tuesday to Santa Ynez. We packed a bag just in case we felt like staying and could get a room. Tuesday night, feeling a bit tired, we went to the registration desk and I did a song and dance about us coming for the day but were having such a good time that we thought to keep gambling if they had a room. I was hoping to just get them down to something reasonable like less than a $100. Instead they comped us the room for free. Anyhow, came out a few hundred ahead so not a bad time.

We took off for a day and a night and it only took about 12 hours after we got back home for Tatum to forgive us.
There does seem to be a double standard at play there. At least he didn’t have to stitch either of you up. At least I hope…
No stitches, but he did express some displeasure by vomiting on our bed.
