UPDATE: I have another job interview at a much fancier Hotel for the same kind of night audit job. If I’m offered the job, I’ll take it because it will no doubt be much more money and it is much MUCH closer to home than this other Hilton related job. It’s even closer to home by a half mile or so than my old newspaper job!
I’m trying to get myself to start the Remote Job tonight. I feel some trepidation about it because of the bug that happened a few weeks ago, where they gave me one day of work accidentally and then cut me off afterwards. The interviewer explained to me that there is a bug in their system that does that. They’re trying to fix it. In any case, I’m on at least one program now. So we’ll see, tonight how it goes.
I can work as late as I want on the remote thing. I need to be on a night schedule anyway, for tomorrow night at the Hilton, however… I also have another job interview tomorrow at 4pm at this other place that is much closer to where I live, and which will doubtless pay more.

I agree. To me “homeland” represents a smaller geographic location -- a ranch, farm, small valley, etc.
