When I read this, I don’t see it as a sign of a healthy economy.
Health care added 72,000 jobs in March, above the average monthly gain of 60,000 over the prior 12 months. In March, job growth continued in ambulatory health care services (+28,000), hospitals (+27,000), and nursing and residential care facilities (+18,000).
In March, employment in government increased by 71,000, higher than the average monthly gain of 54,000 over the prior 12 months. Over the month, employment increased in local government (+49,000) and federal government (+9,000).
Meanwhile, our government doesn’t seem to care (intentionally?) that our manufacturing base continues to be off-shored. A country that can’t design, develop, and manufacture is reliant on the beneficence of other countries.
If we are impotent and dependent on other countries, it makes it easier for Democrats to use that pressure to justify gutting our Constitution and further weakening our nation. A win-win for the liberals. That pesky Constitution keeps getting in their way of taking power.
I got my federal tax extension filed and I’ve got payment set to go out on the 15th. I’ve also set up automatic payment of quarterly taxes at both the state and federal level. I was pleasantly surprised to find that last year I paid quarterly taxes to California (I’ll get a small refund), and a fourth quarter payment to the feds, reducing what I owe this year. 99% of our income is W-2 income, we claim zero exemptions on our W-4s, yet we still owe enough at the end of the year that the IRS will penalize us for not making quarterly tax payments. It’s ridiculous.
Saw this and LOL. I am reminded of these people claiming he could never be elected last time. Different tune now. It is so outrageous to see them warning us that Trump might do the very things Biden has been doing his whole term.
All the right people hate and fear him. That’s enough for me to vote for him.
I still think Brandon is not the nominee and the change will occur at their convention. Trump needs to run primarily against the dems, progressives, and leftists now and Brandon secondary in anticipation of that change.
The dems have a weak bench, but I’m still betting that Brandon doesn’t make it. Although I do wonder if they’ve decided to throw in the towel, go with him, and wait 4 years.
