Today is August 8. 8/8. And we all know what that means.

Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!

8/8 = 1

So we’re all one?

That’s a positive way of looking at it -- HH is another, albeit less positive.

The start of school two-day retreat starts today, so I’ll be away until tomorrow afternoon. Please try not to destroy the place in my absence. I’m rather fond of it.

That’s a heavy burden you are placing on me and Mac, but we’ll do our best. Enjoy the time away.

One refreshing thing about the Harris campaign compared to Brandon is that they can at least walk down stairs and walk briskly.

This used to be a nice safe place to live. Times have changed. What’s funny about this crime is that the library is right next to the Police Department. They caught the guy a few hours later.

On August 8, 2024, just after 2 PM, the reporting party (R/P) and her 17-year-old daughter were in the parking lot of the Simi Valley Library, heading back to their vehicle, when they were approached by an unidentified dark-complected black male adult in his 40s with dreadlocks. The suspect grabbed the daughter by her wrist and arm, attempting to pull her into his vehicle while saying, “Get in my car.” The victim screamed and managed to pull away, causing the suspect to lose his grip. The suspect then entered his vehicle, described as a silver Hyundai two-door coupe, with paper plates and noticeable traffic collision damage on the passenger side, and fled the parking lot southbound on Tapo Canyon Road
