With more fresh hell awaiting us, I’m happy to see that my prediction of a Harris bounce post-debate last week hasn’t materialized.
Since long range attempts to kill Trump have failed twice now, I expect the next one will involve an up close handgun attack or something much larger like a bomb.
I am curious about the SS response yesterday -- how many rounds did they fire and where did they end up, from what distance, and with what type of weapon.
Good questions. Would anyone have a long pew pew within reach? What was the distance to the would-be assassin? Would firing a service pistol at that distance be anything more than a scare tactic?
Mrs Sven took Jack Tatum back to the vet today -- the vet feels he has neurological issues, not mechanical, and gave him a pain shot that’s good for a month to see how he does. Unfortunately, it’s $160 a shot, so if it does help him, I don’t know that we can do it every month.
Mrs Sven also discovered a gas leak at the gas meter outside -- leaky regulator -- so had to have the gas company out and replace that.
Work has been a bear as well -- not a good way to start the week.
She’s got a good nose. I didn’t smell anything until she insisted I go outside and check. I give up on work for the night -- my best hours are early morning -- will try again Tuesday.
