I spent a month and a half recording season three of Reacher, and we watched it in three nights. Now the long wait for season four.
I mostly record older series so I can get them all at once. Some with ten or more seasons get quite large but I don’t burn them to DVDs unless we will be watching them together. Most are just for me. Streaming has turned out to be so much easier than renting DVDs.
I agree the first was best. I often watch the first episode or two, in fact just last night. We still find them worth watching, though I agree with you. Elena likes the action.
Talked to a friend of mine that has property in Thailand -- it’s a weird situation that I won’t go into much, but his wife is Thai and spends most of her time there while he stays here. Anyhow, I asked about the quake and he said they didn’t feel anything there. One of his wife’s sons is in construction and said the building that collapsed in Bangkok was a govt building under construction with a lot of contractor corruption and cut corners. Apparently that was the only building in Bangkok that collapsed.

I liked the first season of Reacher, but for me its gone way downhill since. Too many plot holes, too many unrealistic action scenes.
