It is sore, but getting better finally. After months of it getting worse it gives hope. There is less pain than it has had for more than a month. I go twice a week to get the dressing changed. Very impressed with the wound doctor and everyone else there.
I went to Walmart and did shopping yesterday, first time I have driven in weeks. I over did it and paid last night and today, but it felt good to get out. Elena was not happy when she got home but I was OK, just sore and tired.
Thank you for asking, but it is nothing worthy of your concern.
At least we do have reliable power here, even when we need it most. California has been a punchline for some time but the joke is just no longer funny. I hope for the best for you folks. It seems your leaders (rulers?) do not care much, or maybe even consider that undesirable?
A blessed Sabbath and happy Mother’s Day, Gerbil Nation!
Good afternoon, Sven, and Mac!
Mac -- I’m glad your leg is healing and that you’ve got a good medical team on your side. I know you don’t think it’s anything for us to worry about, but any break in the skin has the potential to go south quickly. I’m glad you were able to drive. The freedom that represents is extremely important.
I’m meeting Mrs. Paddy at my MIL’s in a little bit to do some planting and clean out her fountain. Teh Older and his bride will come over to our place for dinner. Mrs. Paddy has decided that she’d like croque monsieurs for dinner. I’ll do my best to make a good version.
Good morning, GN. Happy Mother’s Day!
Good morning, Sven. I hope your power stays on.
It’s a cooler day, Mac, so they ought to be able to handle it. Summer and fire season will be a completely different beast.
How’s the leg?

That’s good news, Mac.
So long after the effects of nukes on Japan have ended, the scourge of coons unleashed on Germany continue. Tells us something?
That will teach them. Just want us for our skins, eh? Heh.
A blessed Sabbath and happy Mother’s Day, Gerbil Nation!

I admit it -- I had to google it.
Me too.
