With all the hoopla over Jake Tapper’s book on the Brandon coverup, I have only two questions.
1) “They” are the ones in the WH who kept everyone from knowing what was really going on -- who specifically are “they” and how was it done.
2) On the days when Brandon appeared more or less normal and functioning, was it drug-induced and if so, what drugs?
Mark Halperin spends the first 20 minutes of this video giving a good rundown on the problems with Tapper’s account, but while I think he comes close to the right conclusion -- that the media lied and covered it up on their own because of their collective hatred of Trump -- he misses the bigger picture. The media accepted the left’s talking points that Brandon was as sharp as a tack well before Trump announced he was running for a second term. Their bias wasn’t due to TDS, but rather a hatred of everyone not on board with their leftist ideas. The media doesn’t just hate Trump, they hate -- and it is reflected in their reporting -- everyone that is to the right of them.

I think part of reason for the media’s claims that they were fooled into believing Biden was sharp as a tack (something he’s never been) is to attempt to regain some credibility. If they can convince enough people that they were duped, rather than being in on the deception, then maybe people will again trust them.
