She did very well. Late last night, as we were leaving, she was in a lot of pain, but it was from her right hip (scheduled to be replaced in July), not her left.
Mac -- thanks for checking in. I’m sorry you are in so much pain, but glad that you are seeing some progress towards healing. This is not a competition, my friend. We are all here for each other -- for the good and the bad. There is no minimum level of either that must be crossed before you can share it with us.

Well said, Paddy, and agree wholeheartedly. Glad too that Mrs. Paddy did well -- that should remove a lot of stress/worry for her next operation.
I think so. It also confirmed to her that canceling our trip to Ireland (June) was a good thing, considering all the walking we plan on doing.
