I feel like I’m going to get zero regardless. I recently applied but found out that I’ll get nothing for a few years anyway, so I’m revoking my application with that one time form and will take it at 68, if I live that long : )
I recently found out that Harper won’t receive any SS until sometime next summer, because I’m making too much money, and it caused an overpayment. I don’t really care, I hate taking government money anyway. “You paid into it” does not make me feel any better about it.
So we’re heading down to Scottsdale. It was supposed to be another Mayo clinic visit, but that’s been moved to august. I’ve already made all the arrangements though, so we’re going anyway. It should be fun. We’ll be down for 4 nights. Maybe we can figure out something to do on the this trip other than visiting my mom or other family. I’m not good at being a tourist. I’d rather stay in the hotel room and watch videos on the big TV; well… I’d rather just stay home, really, but getting out is good for me. Travelling is a lot of work though. We’ll be staying closer to my mom’s this time. Last time we were in Carefree, which is right at the nortnern apex of Scottsdale. We were going to stay in Fountin Hills, but since Mayo cancelled, we opted for north Scottsdale.
Happy first day of June, GN.
Most amusing headline of the day. You took out a loan 45 years ago, didn’t pay it back, and now you are “at risk.”

A blessed Sabbath, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!
Sven -- that’s some headline, and some sense of entitlement!
Watched The Dig -- a very good movie -- thanks for recommending it, Mac.
Glad you liked it. We both enjoyed it.

I hope you have a good trip.
