Good morning, GN. Speaking of cats, Jack Tatum returned home last night after being gone a week. Hungry, but not in bad shape and he came up and got into bed with us -- After midnight he vomited all over everything. Quite the rude awakening and a nasty clean up. Will be a lot of laundry and carpet cleaning today.
SoCal Edison shut our street down again yesterday to do something -- what they did i’m still not sure, but now we have an all-day maintenance outage scheduled for tomorrow. At least it won’t be hot out and I’ll just run the refrigerator off the generator.
We had a brief power outage but it was so many years ago I don’t remember when. But hey, at least you don’t have those nasty plastic straws our less civilized States are cursed with. I hope they get it back up early for you.
Thank you both. I am healing, though slower than I had hoped. The pain is generally less but does flare up at times. Monday night I could not sleep other than just over an hour at about 6AM. Had my visit with the wound Doc yesterday and the open wound if smaller, about 90mm from 140mm. We moved it out to a week for the next visit. I hope that works out. I did have pain last night but I was able to get enough sleep in several parts. I see the vascular surgeon on Friday to plan out that series of procedures. Going to be interesting but at least things are moving in the right direction.

That is just rude! Sorry you are dealing with that.

You’re right, as usual!

Happy Wednesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and Mac!
Mac -- I don’t miss hot weather with thunderstorms. I hope your wounds are healing.
Sven -- I wonder what small, woodland creature gave Jack the upset stomach?
???
I wouldn’t put it past him.
All he threw up was the cat food he’d eaten a couple hours before and liquid glop. No sign of woodland fairies or other critters.
Echoing Paddy, Mac. Hope you are healing.

Big news out of teh bestest place ever. Major layoffs hitting their corporate workforce. Sad. So sad. They haven’t had one since like 2011.
As a followup, they dumped their entire culture and engagement department. Racist b*stards.
Sounds like a good time to not be working there.
