Good morning, GN. We are off to UCLA-Westwood this morning for more tests/scans and to find out how effective Mrs Sven’s medical treatments from March were. We are as prepared as we can be and I’m hoping we avoid any “peaceful protest” disruptions in the area.
Thanks, Paddy. The drive in was awful but we got out before any protests or afternoon traffic really took hold. We spent about 4 hours at UCLA and while there wasn’t any great news, there wasn’t any really bad news either. Indications are that surgery and radiation likely killed the initial tumor but that isn’t certain due to some other damage/healing that might be impacting the scans. The best we can do is wait another 6-8 weeks, rescan, and check again. If at that time the tumor shows any growth, then removing the eye is the next step.
None of this affects the long term metastasis prognosis. So it goes.
Thread pic: False. Cats don’t work.

Happy “Call Center Cat” Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!
Sven -- save travels. Prayers for both you and Mrs. Sven for a good outcome.

I’m sorry the news wasn’t better, my friend.
