A rough day yesterday. I did drive by the local protests -- they had staked out the corners of a rather obscure intersection -- and gave them a one finger salute as I drove through. Helped pack up and load my friend’s belongings and Mrs Sven stopped by to say good-bye, but as we were leaving she tripped, fell, and broke her nose. Lot of blood, but she reset it herself and then we went to the ER. They treated us well, x-rayed other sore body parts, did a scan of her head, and everything checked out OK. Liquid bandage on the wounds -- no stitches needed -- and they all seemed suitably impressed by her resetting it herself. An awfully long day tho and one more challenge that Mrs Sven doesn’t need. I’ll call a friend and go pick up my truck this morning.

Sven -- I’m sorry about Mrs. Sven’s fall and resultant broken nose. That has to be painful! Good on her for resetting it herself. I hope her recovery goes well.
