Thank you, Paddy. It went well, it seems to be healing steadily if slowly. When they change the dressing they clean off the dead tissue so it always hurts after the visit, but we are down to once a week now. It was very painful last night but much better this morning. That seems to be the pattern now.
I was concerned last Friday because there was considerable pain and it was not at the wound but behind the ankle. Before, that was an indication of infection, but this time when she unwrapped the leg there was a new open sore back there. It should heal up soon.
Next week the vascular surgeon does a procedure on my right leg and he will do the left leg on July 30. It should help with this.
