Mrs Sven went back to work today -- still working remote. She got a warm welcome back and her boss is supportive and told her to take her time getting acclimated this week. I argued against her doing so, but it’s the right decision for her. Work is something she’s always been good at and this is something that she has control over unlike most everything else in her life right now.
It is a good move, but I’m struggling with not getting frustrated when she doesn’t do what I think is best for her. After 35+ years of marriage, you’d think I’d have learned by now.
The number of years doesn’t matter -- the amount of love does. You love her and want what’s best for her. Knowing she’s going to do things her way doesn’t change that.

It sounds like a good move for her. I’m glad she’s able to work remotely so she can take a break, if needed.

Manners -- good morning, Paddy.
Came across these learning links the other day -- quite interesting although it’s probably hit or miss.

I’ve been watching lectures from the Yale one: The Early Middle Ages, 284--1000 (HIST 210) It’s quite good.
That sounds like it’s worth a look. Thanks, Sven!
Metallica. After more than 40 years, still the greatest band in the world.

You gotta admit, they look much better than the Stones.
