Happy Saturday, Gerbil Nation! Now with even moar ‘coons!
We had a great time last night and were able to see the fireworks shows from a lot of different cities, as well as quite a few neighbors who spent untold dollars buying lots and lots of illegal fireworks.
Good morning, Paddy. We had a good time yesterday as well in the company of friends and neighbors and the town put on their usual excellent fireworks display. Less local activity in part due to a house fireworks explosion that destroyed the house and killed one occupant.
After your mention of the show, I downloaded the fifth season. I had already downloaded the first four but have not watched it yet. Thank you for mentioning it.
I look forward to hearing your opinion of it, Mac. I had heard about it when Season 1 came out five or so years ago, but didn’t watch it. Dv8 commented one time about it a few years back and that prompted me to give it a try. It’s unlike any other Christian film/series and I got hooked after the first couple of episodes. Dallas Jenkins goes to great pains to balance scripture with storytelling and altho there’s some criticism and howls of outrage, I think he makes a sincere effort to be historically and scripturally accurate.

About as much as politicians.
Ouch.
Chosen humor.
Love it!
