Thank you, Paddy. I am doing well. After the treatment on my right leg i have both legs wrapped in elastic bandages so I walk a bit like a robot, but everything is moving in the right direction. I did go back to taking Hydrocodone at night but I have been sleeping better and I get by on OTC meds during the day. I get the vein procedure on the left leg on 30 July, so that should be interesting, but the ulcer should be smaller by then.
That sucks, but it is necessary, Mac. Good on you for tending to it. July seems to be a month for healing and medical stuff -- doesn’t Mrs. Paddy get a new hip in July? We are about to head out the door to meet with another set of doctors to discuss Mrs. Sven’s other cancer.
We are kind of back in a holding pattern contingent on these doctors conferring with the other doctors to figure out the best approach. The contingencies are: 1) Is further direct treatment needed on the main cancer which depends on further evaluation next month, and 2) Will their treatments interfere with the main cancer.
Waiting a month to figure out where everything stands makes sense and as one doctor put it: It’s the other cancer that’s going to kill you before this one does. Brutally honest, but something we both figured out already and his bluntness was welcome.
So they want to confer with the other oncologists and put together a game plan that all of them agree on and then we can decide what to do. It’s going to be a long year.

Hi Sven. Yes, Mrs. Paddy gets her other hip replaced two weeks from today. She can’t wait.
