Getting the vein procedure on my left leg this morning. I guess I will be wearing compression bandages all the way up on both legs for a few weeks. Walking like Frankenstein’s monster.
Mrs. Paddy and I were discussing the funding cuts the other day. KUSC has been letting their listeners know that they lost $1.25 million in grant funding. I said they should have no problem making that up through ad sales. The only thing preventing them from selling ads previously was the grant conditions imposed by the CPB.
I imagine this must be terribly traumatic for democrats. They want to blame trump for this Earthquake because he did not raise taxes and sign some paper killing our economy, causing the Earth to spasm in agony, but it hit Russia so that does not fit well with Trump being Putin’s tool, bought and paid for. I so feel their pain.
We have all-day maintenance power outages scheduled for this week, but the information from SoCal Edison is unclear. We got an automated voice mail message this morning saying it’s scheduled for tomorrow, but when I go their website, it says this one was already completed. The website says another one is scheduled for all-day this Saturday. Called the number provided and got a “virtual assistant” -- I hate them f*ckers more than I hate being routed to India for customer service. I would like them maybe a bit more if they changed their robotic female voice from a cold sounding woman holding a whip that sounds disappointed in me to perhaps a male Irish brogue.

Does this have anything to do with your days as an altar boy?
I am home. It was painful during it but I am good now. I took a hydrococone pill when we got there and I am sort of groggy now but not in pain. It did need to be done and should have been done sooner, but it should be better now. I noticed improvement in my right leg right away so this should help the ulcer heal faster. A couple of weeks ago the wound doctor said we would be kind of marking time until this was done. I go there tomorrow to get the wound rewrapped.

Prayers it all goes well, Mac. Good luck!
With funding cut to NPR and PBS, I fear millions will die due to not hearing about the tsunami of doom headed their way.

Time for them all to do a major fundraising event. If people like it, they’ll donate. If not, oh well.
Oh Well (Pt. 1) (Mono) (2018 Remaster)
Yep.
Happy “Trust me” Wednesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Mac, and Sven!
Mac -- prayers for a successful procedure and quick healing. I’m sure you’ll be feeling much better when all is said and done.
It looks like the tsunami left the U.S. unscathed, although it did point out evacuation problems in places like Honolulu.

You are the very model of the empathic man, Mac.

How to sincerely apologize.

Well played!

I’m glad you got that done, Mac. I hope your left leg does as well as the right and that your ulcer heals rapidly.
Thank you, Paddy.
That’s good news -- not what you wanted to do but needed to be done. Good on you.
