Mrs. Paddy and I had a fun, relaxing day sipping wine under the oaks. In the evening we found a local beer garden with a restaurant. Good food and a fun atmosphere. We’ll be driving home this afternoon.
Watched an old WWII movie today: The Train starring Burt Lancaster. French resistance fighters trying to stop a trainload of French art stolen by the Germans in the waning days of the war. Not a bad movie and a welcome change from the bullshit passed off as “movies” today.
I think I saw it as a child many years ago, but don’t think I’ve watched it since.
I have enjoyed the exploding heads over Miss Sweeney, but I just saw a video of her shooting a combat course and I love it. The reaction to this should be epic. Good shooting, too.

That is a good movie. I also saw it long ago and went looking for it a few years ago to add to my collection. A good one.
