Arguably one of the best American songwriters ever. Was listening to this song as I ran errands.
My thoughts were gnawing at me so I tried hard not to think
I took a pint of whiskey and I poured it down the sink
I’d get my act together, I swore it to myself
I looked up at your picture and I knocked it off the shelf
Saturday, on the other side of the grapevine, my CRV started making a loud, vibrating noise that seemed to be coming from in front of me. I pulled over and as I slowed down, the sound stopped. I couldn’t find anything wrong. The serpentine belt looked fine -- it’s on the passenger side -- nothing appeared to be loose in the engine compartment or the wheel wells. The oil level was fine, as was the coolant temp, and the check engine light wasn’t on. When I started up, the noise didn’t resume until I hit 50mph. There was no noticeable change with engine rpms. We drove another 45 miles, then stopped for gas and I checked things again -- still nothing. Sunday morning I checked the fuse box and pulled out the air filter -- nothing stuck or loose. Sometimes the noise would start at 45 instead of 50. It sounded like something like rice was rattling around once sufficient air flow was achieved. When doing my marketing today, I got to 50 mph, but no sound. I’m simultaneously baffled and hopeful that it went away.
Thanks for that, Mac.
God morning, GN -- happy Monday and all that.
Thread pic: Nice picture -- be a good one to hang in a kitchen.

Happy “sex life of a vegetable” Monday, Gerbil Nation!
Good afternoon, Sven!
Done with unpacking and general chores, now it’s off to the grocery store and Trader Joe’s.

Could it just have been the 5’s road surface?
No, it continued on the 46 and didn’t change when we changed lanes.
