I saw something recently about Newsom complaining that California sends more money to the federal govt than it gets back and that without that money the US would collapse. He also routinely trumpets how CA is the fourth or fifth or whatever largest economy in the world.
I thought teh dems were always screaming about the rich paying their “fair share” so it makes sense that CA contributes more.
So his position is that everyone should get more back from the government than they pay in taxes? Does that apply to State taxes paid by Californians as well?

Mostly his position is that Trump is a nazi and a threat to democracy hellbent on destroying California, the country, and the world.
