Sven -- I understand about the Raiders. I’ve been an Angels fan since 1967 and these last years have been brutal. I think Mrs. Paddy and I only went to one game each of the last two seasons. I stopped watching the NFL years ago, but still enjoy college ball. We’ve been following the University of Arizona the past three years because Mrs. Paddy knows the quarterback.
I’ve set out a rat trap by the front porch the last three nights and have caught two rats -- one got away with the bait. I’ll set it out again tonight and see what happens.
Then maybe, just maybe, you should have stayed in the Golden State, Mac?
Speaking of Texas, I swapped out my Metallica driving CD for the latest from Jame McMurtry. His last 3-4 albums haven’t been up to his earlier work, but then he ain’t as young as he used to be. Couple of good songs -- unfortunately the best ones are the first two:
