Well, it’s an infection, Periorbital cellulitis. It is in the skin, but if it moves deeper it can infect the eye socket. Not good. I have two different antibiotics plus what they gave me. It seems to be from one of the tags I had removed. That and my ankle is worse. They wanted to admit me but I declined. I made an appointment with the wound doc but the soonest was Thursday of next week. I am trying to connect with the dermatologist.
Wow! I wrote to my primary care doctor through the portal today. I did not expect to hear from her until tomorrow but she sent me a message after 11:00 PM. She has been great about answering messages and following up.
Thread pic: Smile and make a few listening noises. My favorite is “Huh.”
Good morning, GN.
Good morning. I woke up to my left eye almost swollen shut and the other swollen. Guess it’s an ER morning. I’ll check in later.
Happy Tuesday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and Mac!
Mac -- I hope everything is alright.
Holy crap, Mac. Something weird/allergic in the air or house? Good luck -- hope they get you right.

It itches.
Please take care of yourself, Mac, and listen to Elena and the doctors.
At least they know what it is and hopefully how to treat it. Glad you didn’t wait and hope too that you can get in sooner than a week+ out.
Dermatologist will see me at 9:40 tomorrow morning.
Good deal.
Glad you can get in tomorrow, Mac. I hope it all clears up soon.
Power off down the hill -- a good chunk of this part of town, but we are OK. Why it’s out, no one seems to know.
It looks like one of a series of maintenance outages planned for the next couple of weeks.
Newsom seems to want that European flair for you guys.
Just read you are three times more likely to die in Europe from lack of AC than to be shot in the USA.
Really? I remember that French heat wave 20 years ago that killed like 20,000 people.
I put up next weeks threads, through next Wednesday, in case I can’t see tomorrow. All should be good.
Thank you Mac. I’ll send you a perfectly good coon to show our appreciation. Good luck tomorrow with this.
Thank you!

Wow! That’s amazing care, Mac -- especially these days.
I hope all is well with you Mac.
