It’s three days into the new semester and some students are finally realizing that they have more work to do. Unfortunately, some of them are working in their 1st semester courses, instead of their 2nd.
Watching the right going giddy over the Pretti video from a couple weeks ago showing him interfering with federal officers in a fairly violent fashion in another Minnesota interaction. I don’t think it’s as meaningful as they think it is. 1) It has nothing to do with what happened last week except to show he was not some innocent angel passerby jumping in to help some woman that was getting hammered by feds -- in that sense it may show his state of mind but that’s about it. 2) Don’t forget that George Floyd’s violent criminal past didn’t stop him from sainthood after he died. This isn’t about facts -- it’s only about narrative -- and the left is quite good at that game.
Agreed. The Left is organized and the Right just wants to be left alone (except for that faction of politicians who want power), so we’re always reacting.
There was a quote from the Blue Lives Matter people on X that went like this: Hey leftists… we’ve been warning you… there would be a time when the people who just wanted to be left alone get off the sidelines.
Possibly that time is now, but if it is it isn’t because of the GOP.
