Good morning, GN. Windy out here this morning.

Mrs Sven started working at MiniMed -- a private diabetes device manufacturer owned by Al Mann -- 26 years ago. It was bought by Medtronic 2-3 years later and today Medtronic tosses it aside and it goes back to being MiniMed.

We were watching the NASDAQ opening as the CEO got to ring the opening bell. Mrs Sven is 1 out of 120 or so employees out of 8,000 that were there at MinMed when it was acquired by Medtronic.

The original founder of MiniMed was Al Mann -- an interesting guy with a ton of accomplishments: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfred_E._Mann

Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!

Thread pic: true. Too often, true.

26 years at the same company? Wow! I wonder how often that happens anymore. The founder sure sounds like an interesting guy.

From what I heard, everyone at the original MiniMed loved Al Mann.

I’ll never forget that commercial he did.
