Read that Barrett Robbins died at age 52. He was the Raiders’ all-pro center that disappeared the day before the 2002 Super Bowl game against Tampa Bay. He had suffered from severe mental issues all season and that Saturday he had a complete breakdown with him ending up in Tijuana getting drunk and celebrating the Raiders win early. They found him before kickoff Sunday, but he didn’t play. Post-NFL, his life had a lot of problems: got shot by police, arrested, jail, prison. RIP.
We are doing retirement stuff -- Medicare and Medigap plans. Fun times.
An odd thing -- we had applied online for Medicare Part B about a week and a half ago and we’ve already been approved -- considerably fast than we thought it would take.
Good morning, GN, and happy another-in-a-never-ending-line of-leftist-meaningless-performative-events day.
Glad to see Paddy back as keeping up the ONT was wearing me out.
Mac, I’ve resisted the “retirement” label even tho I haven’t worked in 18 months.

Happy “Does this smell like chloroform” Saturday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!
Mrs. Paddy and I had a very relaxing trip. Even the drive through LA on a Friday evening was better than anticipated.
Glad you had a good time up north, Paddy. Do you take the 5 or 101?
We’ve taken the 101 a few times, but lately take the 5 to save time.
