Is it just me? We went out for lunch the other day to a new Italian deli that had good reviews. It was a very good sandwich, but they don’t take cash. Later in the week we were again going out to lunch at a another new place and checking their website first, they also won’t take cash and you order using a kiosk. We went elsewhere.
I can handle kiosk ordering, but don’t like it. The “no cash” thing is a deal breaker -- I won’t patronize any store that is credit/debit card only.
Happy Caturday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven!
I don’t tend to carry, or use, much cash, but a cashless society is not one I want to be in. A good friend of mine is very jealous of his privacy and pays cash for everything he can. It’s not always easy, especially with his cell phone, but he’s stubborn.
Hi, Paddy. Mostly habit, along with not liking leaving an electronic trail of what I do/where I’ve been pushes me to the cash side. I don’t use credit cards except for large purchases.
Thread pic: I believe him on both counts.
Good morning and happy Saturday.
