Good morning, Paddy -- the teeth are doing OK -- get the crowns put on in a couple of weeks and hopefully that’s it for major dental for the rest of the year. Hope you and Mrs. Paddy are doing fine.
When I was in elementary school, May Day was all about welcoming Spring and learning how to dance around the May Pole (over, under, over, under -- it’s not that hard!). As I got older, the “workers’ party”/Communist interpretation of May Day began to take greater hold.

Good morning, GN -- thanks for the good thoughts yesterday. Mrs Sven slept well and is doing OK. Her knee hurts more this morning than her toe.
Not surprised about the knee. I hope that heals soon and completely. I am glad it was not worse.
Yeah, it could have bee a lot worse, so we count our blessings. Hope all is good with you and Elena, Mac.
Happy Friday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and Mac!

Sven -- I’m glad Mrs. Sven is doing OK. Ditto what Mac said. I hope your tooth is doing better.

Ready.
When did “May Day” become a thing?
Since they stopped punching commies?
It’s definitely a different world than the one I grew up in, but then my father bitched and moaned every day about my stupid lazy generation.
