God blessed me with His grace the other day. Why, I don’t know as I’m not a very good follower of Christ, but I was thankful none the less. My ears have been ringing for the last five years with volume/pitch varying from day to day but always there. The other night I was sitting in the living room and watching teevee with Mrs Sven when the ringing suddenly and painfully increased in both volume and pitch for about 10 seconds and then stopped altogether. After it stopped, no more ringing at all. Dead quiet except for the normal yard and teevee noises. It was so beautiful to hear quiet -- I almost wept. It lasted for a full night and most of the next day. Now the ringing is back but at a lower volume than what it was before.
Interesting. My experience with this is from shooting handguns without protection when young and stupid (now I am old and stupid). The ringing was damaged nerves and when it stopped the nerves had died and some hearing range was lost for life. I lost some higher range before wising up. This is clearly different. I hope it gives hope of continued improvement.
Thread pic: I no longer know what day it is -- I’ve simplified things to just day/night.

Sure Happy It’s Thursday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and Mac!
My work computer is on, but only to respond to any IMs or last-minute emails. And no, I’m not telling anyone that all of my tasks are completed.
Do they monitor your activity? If yes, you need to buy a mouse jiggler.
That sounds kinky, yet, for Paddy….
