Good morning, Mac. My eye is OK today. What happens varies each time I wake up in the middle of the night and feel something not quite right in it. The worse case seems to be the eyelid stuck to the cornea and a tear occurs when I move my eye or eyelid. That severe pain lasts usually 45 minutes or so and there’s nothing to be done. According to AI, the cornea is 300-600 times more sensitive to pain than skin. My vision will blur badly and take up to two weeks to return to normal.
The most recent one was waking up and feeling something in my eye -- similar to the feeling you get when you get a piece of dirt in there -- and moving my eye caused some discomfort, but no tear. In that case what I do is douse my eye with eye drops. It was still uncomfortable and my vision was a bit blurry, but it didn’t get really bad.
When it happens, there’s always that moment of panic thinking how bad is this going to get? I’ve been lucky this year. So far.
Playing around this morning with preserving some family history. Instead of uploading individual photos, I’m exploring using Adobe Acrobat to create a binder of the scanned images in one PDF file. This could really simplify things on my end.

Good day, GN. Wednesday, eh? As Kid Rock sang, “Wednesday ain’t for sh*t”.
Good morning, Sven. How is the eye today?

That would be hard to deal with. I hope that luck continues and improves.
Thank you -- me, too. There’s just no knowing when it will happen, so each night can be adventure in anticipation.
