Sad news. So “election day” is as many weeks as Democrats need to manufacture enough fake votes to win/steal the election, criminals get rewarded for breaking the law. We already knew that Roberts had stabbed us in the back and rejected reality, but I was very disappointed in Amy siding with the liberals.
Did our Justice Jackson recuse herself as she doesn’t know what a woman is?
One good thing about the election day/week/month/whatever ruling. I think it was based on the wording of the law rather than the Constitution, so the legislature can fix it, if enough pressure can be brought to bare.
One pressure Trump could bring to get the SAVE Act passed is him telling teh dems that they can pass this bill now or he starts deporting Haitians here under TPS tomorrow.
While I’m disappointed in both decisions today (election “day” is now election month or whatever, born here and you’re a citizen regardless) I think the birthright citizenship ruling is less of a problem than I previously thought. Because of Trump’s actions to shut down the border, there has to be fewer anchor babies. Birth tourism is still a thing, but the numbers are way smaller and can be addressed through other means. So not a great day, but not a bad one.
Thread pic: Teh orange ones are always the first to go.
Good morning, GN.
SCOTUS rules that “girls” are biological girls as far as school sports go. Duh.
And SCOTUS now upholds the rather bogus idea of birthright citizenship. That sucks.
More SCOTUS bad news: Alitio is retiring. Or not. Seems like the media is walking that one back.

Sad to see Alito go. I hope Trump puts in a good replacement. That will be a shameful sideshow in the Senate, I’m sure.
Hi, Mac. Apparently this was a false news report from NPR that has since been retracted. Alito did not announce his retirement today.
Thank you. That is good news.
