I need to replace my office desk chair. You’d think that would be a simple proposition, but no. There are hundreds of thousands of different styles at millions of websites at prices ranging from under $100 to OMG! I’m sure most of them are made in the same three factories, with variable quality control that means whatever you buy, it’s going to be a crap-shoot.
I guess SoCal Edison was tired of bothering Sven with power shut-offs. I just got a notice that they’re shutting off power overnight in a couple of weeks.
Looking at trucks today. My Tacoma is 21 years old -- about 170,000 miles as since covid, I didn’t drive much. It still runs fine, but I’m nervous taking it on long trips. Anyhow, after owning manual transmission Toyotas since 1988, I’ve narrowed things down to the Nissan Frontier, sniff, with an automatic tranny. Will head back to the dealer tomorrow with Mrs Sven to see what she thinks.

Hi, Paddy -- yeah, know what you mean. It’s a chair, but yet they can go up to that OMG price real quick.
