Happy Saturday, Gerbil Nation!
Good morning, Sven, and Mac!

Mac -- that’s awfully kind of you. A pair of ravens have taken to visiting our fountain for a drink and a bath, along with all of the other birds (including a red-shouldered hawk). The rats and squirrel clean up any seed that spills from the bird feeder.

Good morning, Mac, and Paddy!

Crows are cool and very smart. I do wish the critters would eat more of my bird seed -- it seems like no one likes dried corn anymore.

Reading about the coming end of the world via AI, I wonder if this is just global warming/climate change redux.

It’s little hard to tell. Ravens are bigger, glide when flying, and have a narrower tail. Crows have a wedge or fan-shaped tail and flap constantly while flying. Crows gather in large groups, while ravens are solitary or will be in pairs.
