It’s clean up day in our area-free dumping of stuff at the park down the hill. Got my truck loaded with brush and I can dump off the old cook top. My grout has dried, finally, so I can finish the install of the new one. Doesnt look great, but there you go.

Sven -- I hope the rest of your project goes without mishap. I’m sure it will look a lot better to you once it’s all done.
Had a lot of fun last night watching “Alice vs. Wonderland” at Teh Younger’s school. It’s a comedic interpretation of Alice that features six different Alice’s -- including one in drag.
Man, it’s hot here today-got close to 90. Do not like.
Did get all my brush down the hill to the free bins--crowded there--glad I left when I did. Must have been 40 trucks in line behind me as all the cranky old Knolls’ people came down from the hills to throw things away.
And the stove top is in. Works, no gas leaks, securely battened down, but sadly, it doesnt look that good. It looks good enough, but without a lot of other work that for a temporary solution I wasnt willing to do, the install looks a bit sloppy.
New revelations about the IRS targeting the Tea Party groups. There has been so many scandals out of this administration, from so many different departments and agencies, that I can’t keep them straight anymore.
These people in the federal govt are exactly who we thought they were but hoped they weren’t. At least that’s how I feel about things.
They were also targeting Jewish organizations — asking for personal info and political affiliations/donations made by board members over {xx} period of time. Does that not just scream of targeting?!
Everything else has slid off this Administration so far, though, so I don’t see this sinking their battleship either.
