Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers, mothers-to-be, step-moms, aunts, wives, neighbors, and anyone else who has served in the role of mother to someone else. We are grateful for the many ways you have nurtured us. A special prayer goes out to mothers who have lost their children and children who have lost their mothers -- may you be comforted in your sorrows.
It’s only 92 here, so, yeah, it’s cooler. Going to take the family and MIL to see “42”, so that will definitely be cooler. Afterwards, we’ll have dinner on the patio -- spinach pasta salad with mixed berries in cream for dessert (with a splash of Cointreau in the cream). Nice and light.
