Cold and drizzly out here in SoCal. Bigger rain expected this afternoon with even a slight chance of snow right here. Nothing like what you guys back east or in Texas are experiencing, but winter weather for sure. Hope everyone stays warm and safe and thanks for the pictures and updates yesterday.

Mrs Sven is sick today--stayed home from work yesterday. I ended up working late last night and so missed a gerbil phone call--will try to connect back this weekend.

The first tweet from the WH today was about extending unemployment insurance. As of 8 pm EST, neither @BarackObama nor @WhiteHouse had issued a tweet regarding Pearl Harbor.
