“Thread lizard speak with forked tongue.”

Buenas dias, GerbiliƱos!

Hope teh NE contingent is battened-down with plenty of toilet paper, batteries and some way to stay warm just in case the SHTF.

Read that the FedGov is mostly closed today; more please! (Although it pisses me off that once again we’ll be paying their skanky asses to do nothing.)

Good morning, Fatwa.

Storms in the NE? Havent been watching the news. Stay safe, guys.

Forked tongues. Reminds me of this lyric out of Ian Hunter: ‘I got a knife between my teeth for that fork in your tongue’

Fun fact: Ian Hunter wrote “Ships”, which was a hit for Barry Manilow.

Sorry you’re so frustrated, mang.

Good morning, Gerbil Nation!
Back to school today -- last week before final exams. I wonder how much late work will be turned in this week?

Off to work in a bit. Terribly frustrating at the moment; the old two steps forward and three steps back kind of thing. Nothing else exciting going on here. Stable at least.

Greetings from Chicago where the high today will be 4. Sure glad I missed the 2-4 inches of snow.

Hai, Jerry!

Give my regards to my birth city…and have a nice Chicago-style dog or -- better yet -- a proper pizza from Mi Pi or Geno’s East.

Pretty good -- and short -- blog post on Weaponized Government:

Pull-quote:

What we are witnessing is the ongoing self-delegitimization of the US federal government. It is impossible to pretend any longer that there is a rule of law in the USA. It is impossible to pretend any longer that the government is the servant of the people.
